The Great Falls Flower Growers were organized in 1933 and became federated in 1938.  We meet on the first Friday, September-June, with a luncheon at 11:30 pm. At this time we are meeting in the Do Bar Convention Room.

Our club has a picnic and garden walk in July and August.

Every meeting we have a Horticulture and Environmental report and an educational speaker.

Four arrangements are made monthly by our members and displayed at The Sletten Cancer Institute,  the Harold and Carmen Poulsen Legacy House and both Gift of Life buildings at Benefis Hospital.

Flower gardens at the Great Falls Library Park, Paris Gibson Square Butterfly garden, Veteran’s Memorial and Paris Gibson’s gravesite are planted and with some being maintained throughout the spring and summer by members of our club. We also do cleanup and planting native perennials and shrubs on the River’s Edge Trail.

Every February, Great Falls Flower Growers members bake cupcakes for our local Senior Citizen monthly birthday party.

The annual Great Falls Flower Growers fundraiser allows us to give scholarships to Montana College Students that are majoring in Horticulture or Agriculture.

Every other year we work with the other Clubs in Central District #5, to present a Standard Flower Show. We also participate in state, regional and national projects and contests.

Our President for 2024 through 2025 is Elaine Wood.

We send delegates to the State Conventions and several of our members hold state chairmanships.
