Tucked away at over 5,400 feet in a wide, green valley surrounded by the breathtaking Beaverhead–Deer Lodge National Forest, the Dillon Garden Club has been bringing beauty and community spirit to the area since 1979. Our members share a love for plants, flowers, and all things gardening. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just curious, you’ll find a warm welcome here.
We gather on the 4th Monday of every month to enjoy guest speakers who inspire us with creative gardening ideas and techniques. During the summer, we delight in touring each other’s gardens as well as those of generous community members—it’s one of the many highlights of the season.
Club members also roll up their sleeves to help keep Dillon blooming. Every May, we plant flowers at the Blue Star Memorial and tend to several garden beds throughout town to keep Dillon looking beautiful.
We’re proud to play a big part in the floriculture and horticulture departments at the Beaverhead County Fair every Labor Day. The Monday before fair entries, we host a special youth floral design workshop, where we help young participants learn how to create beautiful floral pieces to enter in the fair.
In October, we host a festive craft fair that brings the community together. In the winter, we love joining in on the holiday fun by participating in the Festival of Trees and the Bannack Wreath Walk.
Interested in joining us? We’d love to meet you! Whether you’re new to gardening or have years of experience, there’s a place for you in the Dillon Garden Club.
